MDC hires team members who educate and empower citizens by offering various programs to people of all ages whether they are attending a nature center, walking on a trail, participating in a hunter education program, etc. Other staff members are hired to promote conservation through a variety of publications such as the nationally distributed – Missouri Conservationist, the exciting new Xplor Kids magazine, nature guides and social media sites. Whether you are working as an Education Consultant, a Naturalist, or an Editor, the goal is to promote conservation and to provide the opportunity for all citizens to use, enjoy and learn about the resources our state.
MDC provides many Department facilities to learn and enjoy Missouri’s outdoors. These facilities include seven nature centers statewide, two education centers, 5 shooting ranges and 8 regional offices.
Other Communication/Education disciplines are: Photographers, Marketing Specialist, Communication Specialist, Graphic Design, etc.
